CFE Coaching Fellowship Application

Thank you for your consideration in applying to become a fellow in one of our next cohorts.

But first things first. You need to know more about us—and we need to know a little more about you. Read on to find out what it takes—and how it pays—to become a successful fellow.

Our Partners

CFE is thrilled to partner with some of the top accredited coaching schools on the planet. This means that you get a choice of schools to obtain your certification. Before you start the application, please get to know more about our partner schools and how our relationships with our partner schools work.

CFE ensures that every instructor has been vetted as having a combination of lived experience as a marginalized population and/or extensive training in anti-racism. These partnerships provide a unique experience by building and graduating close-knit cohorts of BIPOC fellows who are certified through world-class curriculums.

Co-Active Training Institute

Co-Active Training Institute (CTI). CTI has been training coaches around the world for nearly 30 years.

Why Co-Active Training Institute?

As an organization dedicated to creating new opportunities and activating potential, CFE is proud to be partnered with CTI. Focused on making a collective and meaningful impact, CTI uses ground-breaking methods to cultivate leaders using experiential learning. Their programs are designed to inspire a passion for life-long leadership development, rooted in communication and aligning with others.

Like CFE, CTI believes that to become an effective coach, one must first learn to challenge their limitations, develop strong self-trust, nurture honest self-discovery and take bold actions. Only then can we teach others how to cultivate these skills within themselves.

iPEC

iPEC considers its graduates “partners” and states that its mission is to “raise the consciousness of the world, one person at a time.”

Why iPEC?

Our partnership with the Institute for Professional Excellence (iPEC) provides a unique experience by building a cohort of fellow BIPOC candidates who will be certified in iPEC’s world-class curriculum. Backed by 30 years of research and a proven track record of success, iPEC aims to inspire and support your calling to change your life through coaching. iPEC was one of the first coach training programs to be accredited by the ICF and goes beyond the requirements necessary for accreditation. Every bit of their programs, communications, and organizational structure is devoted to increasing the effectiveness of your training and helping you fulfill your potential.

Transfer Fee (CTI)

Course Transfers and Transfer Fees:
Transfer requests are only accepted for urgent, unforeseen reasons. For course transfer requests, please notify us as soon as you are aware of an unexpected event that prevents you from attending your scheduled course.

How to Notify

Please send an email to service@coactive.com and copy Victor on all transfer request communications. In the subject line, please write “Urgent CFE Transfer Request.” The standard transfer fee of $125 will be charged to CFE and may be debited against your commitment deposit. In some cases, we may waive the transfer fee and will consider each request on a case-by-case basis.

The Pay It Forward Program

Your fellowship is only the start of your coaching work—and the opportunity to pay forward the value you receive from this program is yet another benefit. In this campaign, we ask that each cohort collectively raise $25,000 to support the cohort after you.

As a group, you will participate in a 45-day fundraising campaign where each of you will raise roughly $1,500. We provide the tools, you all work together to “Pay it Forward.”

If selected, we’ll contact you for a video interview.

Please note: Due to high demand and limited availability, selected candidates are asked to confirm their acceptance within 24 hours of being notified.
